The drinking policy alone makes one feel restricted and uncomfortable. They understandably have to in accordance with state law, but there's nothing worse than sobering up while losing money. Worst of all, the bar stops serving at 2AM. The bartenders are instructed to serve patrons only one drink at a time, so forget about bringing a round out to your friends on the floor unless you want to go through the tedious process of everyone coming in and being accounted for in front of the bartender like children on a school trip.
My biggest gripe involves the casino's drinking policy. Still, the gambling experience itself is marginally adequate. As said many times before here, the slots are tight. The tables are a bit pricey with $25 minimums for blackjack on weekend nights. The tacky faux-Indian gift shops and generic fast food on the concourse offer little repreive if you've taken a beating at the tables. For an Atlantic City devotee like myself, being confined to just one establishment can be nerve-wracking. For starters, It's situated inthe middle of nowhere - the surrounding country is very scenic, but the remoteness of the place makes you feel trapped after a while. Foxwoods is not a place I'd want to visit again.
